NEW YORK, NY–On September 2, 2022, Bright Shiny Things releases Movement & Location from award-winning string ensemble Sybarite5. The recording is from the groups’s first live indoor concert since the pandemic. To celebrate this momentous occasion Sybarite5 chose to release one of their favorite tunes from this concert for their fans to enjoy.
Always keeping their audience on their toes, Movement & Location, is an original song by Chris Thiles’s bluegrass band the Punch Brothers, and was arranged for Sybarite5 by composer, conductor, and friend of Sybarite5, Paul Sanho Kim.
The concert took place at Old Church on the Portland Friends of Chamber Music concert series on March 4th 2022 in Portland Oregon.
